OBJECTIVES
This course builds a firm foundation in the principles and practices of designing, planning and conducting successful casing and cement jobs. The course uses checklists and job design forms that include ‘risk-mitigation-response’ for possible hazards, but emphasize properly designing the job to minimize the need to react to deviations. The course uses a process-based perspective that takes participant * syarat & ketentuan berlakus from defining well goals through post-job critical evaluation.

* Casing stress calculations
* Selecting appropriate connections
* API specifications
* Cement additives and cement laboratory tests
* Monitoring cement job progress
* Selecting the appropriate slurry
* Cement placement process
* Cementing calculations and equipment specifications
* Mud removal
* Preventing gas migration
* Well head equipment summary
